Fat graft or lipomodeling

Augmentation with lipomodeling only

If you are not keen on using silicone implants and you are looking for a larger natural looking breast, Mr Bonomi can use your own fatty tissue.

Fat grafting or lipomodeling is a technique that can increase the breast volume without the use of silicone implants.

With a careful and delicate liposuction, it is in fact possible to remove the excess fat from anywhere in the body. The most common areas to retrieve fat are flanks, tummy and the outer part of the thighs.

The fat retrieved is then cleaned with a centrifuge machine and during the same procedure, it can be thoroughly re injected as thousands of drops of fat in the breasts to make them fuller.

This procedure gets rid of the excess fat that you do not like and utilises it to increase the breasts’ volume avoiding the revision surgery that implants normally require. Minimal scarring is involved and the recovery is quicker.

This technique is perfect for women who would like to increase to one and a half cup maximum. This is because 30 % of the fat retrieved through the liposuction is lost during the purification process and between 30% to 40% of the fat is reabsorbed by the body within 4 months from the injection. In smokers, the rate of reabsorption can be up to 80%.

To achieve a breast enlargement of more than 1 cup size is possible but 2 or 3 sessions can be necessary and each procedure has a cost.

All operations have risks and benefits. The possible complications following surgery depend on many factors such as the patient’s characteristics and the type of operation. You will have the possibility to discuss this with Mr Bonomi during the consultation.
